@loinersview Sorry, I wasn’t trying to be obnoxious. I grew up in E Yorks and was just saying nobody would say they are a KR fan, they’d say Rovers. As Dave Woods did on comms last night. As you say there are bigger issues, enjoy your Saturday LV.
@SalfordStories@JohnVic49@johnnyddavidson @iPaperSport John is an exception, but it always amazes me how prominent RL journalists don’t seem to have an inquiring mind. They seem more interested in posting transfer gossip than holding RFL Executives to account. Are they demanding interviews with Johnson and/or Sutton? They should be.
@loinersview@WiganRL1 Honestly, even with the 20k crowds if you knew where to park it was one of the easiest grounds to get away from being so close to the motorway. Although I could imagine if supporters coaches parked outside the ground that could be a nightmare.
@loinersview@WiganRL1 You’re right about the facilities, but it really isn’t/wasn’t a nightmare to get away from. Park off somewhere of Huddersfield Rd, you’re on the 606 in 10 minutes.
@M_Shaw1 What you are saying is you have seen the Heads of Terms for the acquisition of the lease, and within it their is an overage clause which allows the RFL 50% of any future sale proceeds up to £1 million. It’s pretty obvious who has leaked this and it wasn’t Knight Frank!
@M_Shaw1 Why do you think the Rugby League press is so reluctant to hold the RFL to account for this, have you asked Tony Sutton for an interview so he can explain what went wrong here?
@andrewfoster101 My Dad recalls his second spell at Bradford Northern in the late 70’s. He says he was often the best player on the pitch at 40 years old. He said he ran rings round the touring Aussies at Odsal during that time.
