the sociality of snooker halls has been an obvious victim of the value of the floor space taken up by tables. snooker and pool all but gone from most pubs, as they seek to pay bills by replacing gaming tables with sit-down-and-eat space.
i say flippant things on here. but i say this with the greatest sincerity. snooker halls like this should be protected. worth classifying as “assets of community value.”
