Academics acting as if you can’t know something is true without a formal study is a real issue
“People make poor health decisions that lead to weight issues and health problems.”
“Well, we don’t know that it’s their decisions or their fault at all! You’re forgetting factor xyz”
@QuinnChasan@gaychuevara@dustinthomasXO@micsolana That’s fine!
Bro just say “I think coercion in this case was good and we needed to do it”
And we can stop arguing
You’ll NEVER convince me it wasn’t coercion because I was personally coerced
@QuinnChasan@gaychuevara@dustinthomasXO@micsolana Just cause I voted Bernie sanders doesn’t make me a socialist lol his opponent was Hillary Clinton, gross
I also voted for Barrack Obama
You love to make up a character in your head about who I am instead of sticking to the topic
It’s kind of weird haha
@QuinnChasan@gaychuevara@dustinthomasXO@micsolana Look
I took the vaccine against my will as a young healthy guy to not lose my job
You can play every word game you want but there are millions of people like me
Call it coercion or something else I don’t care
I was forced to take a vaccine against my will bottom line
@QuinnChasan@gaychuevara@dustinthomasXO@micsolana It does matter!
There was no societal agreement or law for Covid vaccination it was pure coercion through threat of loss of work
That is very different
Look man, it was 100% coercion for those that didn’t want it. Just admit that, and that you think it was good and right
Dude thought he had me with “you think taxes are coercion”
Uh yeah man! If you don’t pay they put you jail. That isn’t a simple incentive that is coercion
Is coercion only gun to the head “do what I say or die” to this guy?
@QuinnChasan@gaychuevara@dustinthomasXO@micsolana Not every law. Most are simple disincentives (fines)
There is a fine line between coercion and punishment but I see coercion as forcing you to do something whereas laws usually say don’t do something
