Starting this Sunday (8/17), weekly programs will start go out to all paid subscribers to The Athlete’s Guide.
This email will include 3 programs with training for the week, including an In-Season Program, an Off-Season Program, and a Performance Program.
These programs will include all 7 days of each week, each of which is tailored to the season athletes are in, and factor in recovery and game days (for those in-season).
The Performance Program is a hypertrophy-based program for adults and those not competing in sports who want to add a bit more athleticism into their training while still building muscle.
The ramp-up program will also be going live this Sunday for people who haven’t been training as frequently and would like to prepare themselves before diving into the weekly programs.
To celebrate the launch, I’m offering 50% off for life to anyone who subscribes before this Sunday. The subscription also includes all of the previous Athlete’s Guide programs, and you can preview all of those through the link.
Use the link for 50% for life, only available to those who subscribe before launch😁

Getting recruited is all about impressions.
- Well-written emails
- Speaking respectfully
- Being willing to listen
- Playing hard
- Being a good teammate
- Pushing through adversity
Mess even one of these up and it will be tough to make it on a recruiter's list.
As a collegiate student-athlete, you may need to schedule early morning classes, especially during the season
It may suck getting up early, but its a whole lot better than missing practices or rushing to and from class so you're not late
Make it as easy on yourself as possible
All kids should be playing sports growing up
In a unique way it teaches them to deal with failure. It teaches them to deal with people they don't like. It teaches them to push themselves
No other single activity can replicate the way that life-lessons are taught through sports
The Reds are the first team in MLB history to have:
no qualifying batter hit .270
no batter hit 25 homers
no pitcher win 15 games
no pitcher notch 200 strikeouts
...in a non-shortened season and yet still make the playoffs.
1: Anyone making too much out of this has never played a competitive sport
2: Bryson/Bryson’s caddie probably either thought it was their turn or were closer than they thought, probably an honest mistake
3: Rose is in the heat of the moment, trying to focus on a crucial putt, obviously he’s gonna come off harsh
4: Bryson is 100% of the time going to use something like that to fire himself and the crowd up, that’s just the way the guy is wired, nothing wrong with that
5: Caddies should focus on carrying the bags, lame that they said anything
6: Molinari getting involved was stupid, and he must have said something stupid to get Ted Scott that fired up
7: Whatever EU caddie that is at the end talking to Bryson is a loser
Athletes - Want to stand out to a recruiter?
Do the little things. Hustle. Play hard. Stay locked in. Be reliable. Be consistent - don't get too high don't get too low.
This is what separates you from the pack, not your performance on one given day.
A Tip for College Student-Athletes scheduling classes:
Always schedule at least one extra class over the required number to play. This allows you to have a failsafe in case something goes wrong in one of your classes.
Don't let classes be the reason you can't play.
