@RachelReevesMP@JoCoxFoundation Probably more of a reflection on me than them but I'm certain that I have little in common with a large chunk of the occupants of this country. And believe me I'm good with that.
@VinPrice@MhairiHunter Some kids from my town were interviewed on Radio 4 today and their parents made them charge their phones on the landing overnight. Remember this tip next time your poor child is being bullied online all through the night. You're welcome.
Hi @ONS team, do you have any statistics to help me see if there is a correlation between those who support the social media ban and those who supported wearing masks outside during COVID? Regards, Stuart.
@jolearynash Unless a government minister is willing to babysit once in a while then I don't really want to hear their opinions about how I should raise my kids.
@JuliaHB1 They have addressed the problem of 16 year olds having the right to vote but not having access to internet platforms that some would say offer an alternative political view to the mainstream media. The solution... Teachers will explain how democracy works and who to vote for.
@WingsScotland Iain Macwhirter... within a 7 word headline shifts the responsibility from him personally to the lefty blob. The article is a textbook example of "collectivising the blame". Weak cunt.
@colone1flanders@LauraTrottMP Harsh, but you are correct. Parents are deluded, and the Conservatives are here to support and guide, and where necessary legislate.
@Blammo771@SpuddieG@KirstieMAllsopp Create a government registry that allows parents to opt out of state interference in the raising of their children. Everyone else can let the government decide what's best for their kids to watch, read, listen to, eat, drink, wear, associate with, learn about, who to love / hate.
@BobPickard@afneil Hi Bob, how did you manage to work around the character limitation on this tweet? When I try, the site stops me after a few sentences with a red circle and the message "Stop now!! you are being dull again." - surely this must happen to you???
@SaulStaniforth I think you misunderstood. He said move from HAND OUTS to HAND UPS. So clearly he isn't thinking of the sick, disabled, low paid or pensioners when he says that. How can you give a pensioner a "hand up"? He's thinking of the lazy ones taking the piss out of us.
