@NajiChill Sadly, that's all it ever is anymore, just talk. Even the face of boxing the last decade, Canelo, mostly fought twice a year. These guys are not even fighting once a year.
@LockedinCities@iamrahstradamus The UFC card at the White House last week literally had a main event where it was champ vs "interim" champ. So, NOT one belt.
This current crop of "greats" are so lame. They spend more time calling each other out on social media, or counting all the reasons why they can't/won't fight each other, than they do creating epic battles inside the ring with one another. None will leave a legacy at this rate.
This venue for the Queensberry card is really cool. It carries thru via the television as well, even tho I'd imagine being there is a real treat. Love when they do shows like this. Great atmosphere.
It's too bad Bud didn't take the crossover deal with McGregor. Conor is so beyond washed, Bud would probably be able to go in the cage, decimate him on his own turf, then clean up in the boxing ring and collect an easy 200Ms for the sweep. Conor's never been more ripe for picking
@cmckennasport@PhilR2025@TheAthletic I don't care if it IS a two-fight deal, the fights belong on UK soil. The idea of a 1 and 1 is just plain stupid and I'd like to think bad business as well. Fill out Wembley, ffs. Why do this at a place like T-Mobile? So much wrong with this. This is shitting on the UK fans.
@Woodsy1069@abeG718@FightsATW Help me understand what is needed to keep them operating? A quick online search shows that of the 2M unique quarterly views on YT, roughly 730k of that # are recurring viewers. So if they get around 15% of those recurring viewers to buy in, they'll stay afloat? Or am I dumb? Help
