When I'm settling in for a night of Erdman calling the fights

I also write about boxing history for The Ring's website 👍

Set designer wasn't fucking around.

@JackDillon25 Not gonna lie, I don't know a thing about it and I don't have much interest in watching any new Muhammad Ali material or reading any more Muhammad Ali books, etc. That said, it looks like whoever put this together did it with the painstaking detail "Ali" pretended to have

@JackDillon25 @b0xingfan @KnucklesNGloves @PunchZoneAris Correction: strange things are afoot at the Circle K. We may have no choice but to cover the ballot now

[Boxing History @BoxingHistory]

@JackDillon25 @b0xingfan @KnucklesNGloves @PunchZoneAris Thank you! Not sure if we'll do a show on it this year. I was removed as an IBHOF voter and from the BWAA but can't get an answer as to why. Confusion and needless chaos pretty much a microcosm of the whole thing. I'll think on it but not inclined to basically advertise for them

[Boxing History @BoxingHistory]

Hey, I might not be in the BWAA anymore for reasons unknown and undisclosed, but I'm still writing!

@BoxingJournaIs Perfect example of someone doing a heap of work early in their career, then just coasting on name drops and "trust me" crap

[Boxing History @BoxingHistory]

Welp.

[Boxing History @BoxingHistory]

You can root for whoever you want, whichever promoter or network, whatever, but it feels like spending 20 minutes telling viewers a fight could be a total mismatch due to a weight disparity and 5 talking about it being a decent matchup is... less than ideal.

[Boxing History @BoxingHistory]

I'm a fool to do your filthy work, Jack.

Oh I see they’re playing the inna gotta devita version of “the final countdown”

"I said!....... this fight has been declared a No Contest. No Contest." - diamante

[Boxing History @BoxingHistory]

all we needed is a few sloppy heavyweight rabbit punches and we circled back to Paul Williams vs Kermit Cintrón 🙏🙏🙏

[Boxing History @BoxingHistory]

DAZN feed had zero audio earlier, now it's randomly switching to the French broadcast, boxing is so back baby
