‘OBSESSION’ may become one of the only films in history to earn $100M+ on a budget of less than $1M.
The film is expected to earn more this weekend than it did in its opening weekend, a rare feat.

@HerShesChoclate What is he even arguing here. Drawing examples that are out of context 😂 Society is crumbling before our eyes because we have to live with people who make these dishonest arguments to defend foolish decisions their favorite famous person made. Ugh!
When I see an artist dropped 17+, let alone 40 songs on an album, I can’t help but roll my eyes at the cheap attempt to flood the charts and scrape streams.
Sigh! The problem with ICE MAN doesn’t stop at the whinny nature of lyrics. The album further confirms Drake’s inability to rise above the beef or grow up. To be fair, he does not have to be introspective if it’s not in him to do so. However, if you find yourself listening to this album and felt fatigued half way through, then congratulations! You outgrew Aubrey Graham.
A missed opportunity.
Oh yeah, saw #MortalKombatII last night. The plot and character dev left a lot to be desired. Karl Urban (Johnny Cage) and Josh Lawson (Kano) rescued a mostly wooden kast thanks to their cheeky dialogues and sharp komedic timing. The action aren’t all that memorable either. It was like playing story mode but the recap version.
What I liked — That Liu Kang v Kung Lao fight was pretty Kool. Having Hanzo mutha fucking Hasashi kick Bi Han’s butt in any MK universe is always a plus. The set, kostume and VFX work here are fantastic!
Overall, it was just okay, not great. The bar for these MK films are really low but I think they Kould really be elevated by adding more experienced actors that have the ability punch up these characters and make them feel more interesting or even likeable.
The best part of MKII were moments where the Karl Urban, Josh Lawson and Hiroyuki Sanada got to shine. It’s also when the audiences at my screening are most alive and locked-the fuck in.
