Today, 161 Somali migrants have returned home after being stranded for months in Libya, assisted by @EU_in_Somalia and IOM Somalia, in collaboration with Somalia’s Office of Special Presidential Envoy (OSPE).

🇸🇴✨ Today, we proudly welcomed 191 #Somali citizens returning home from Libya. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to supporting Somali citizens abroad, especially those stranded. We remain dedicated to safe, regular and dignified returns.

Today's culmination of events, underscores the power of #collaboration among the Somali government, the EU who funded this initiative, implemented by IOM, and supported by UNHCR, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Migration, Returns, and Children’s Rights.
