Yes. This is really happening.
So excited to write the meeting between the two heroes I’ve written the most at each company.
And drawn by my brother in comics, @Bruno_Redondo_F!
interesting perspective and definitely agree to an extent but overall disagree. a large, almost complete summary of your issues with the film come down to your expectations and preferences for previous characterizations and storylines, which isn’t inherently a bad thing but closes the door for new, different decisions. you compare plot decisions and character relationships, specifically between father and son, with other stories and narratives when superman isn’t trying to tell any of those stories. the twist with his parents aren’t to test if he was meant to be evil, if he’d turn evil, if jor-el is evil; it’s mean to throw him for a loop because up until 5 seconds ago he’d believed and found comfort in the idea that he was meant to do good, that it was his purpose. he felt confident in what he was doing, like in boravia, because how could he be wrong if he fundamentally was meant to do good. when he finds the truth, while you’re interested in his relationship with his father and his heritage, the story is more focused on what this reveal means for him and his moral compass. who is he? has he been mistaken? now looking back at boravia, was he wrong? what he realizes with help of his earth family and friends is that he’s human, he makes decisions that can be right or wrong but he chooses to do good because that’s what he wants, not because he is expected to. ultra man is a good perspective into who he feared he’d be, acting on command as it was his purpose, doing what he was sent to do, just as he fears he might have had he heard the full message from the beginning, but he doesn’t because he’d grown into his own, independent man. doing the right thing because you’re expected to, because you believe you have to, isn’t the same as doing it because it’s what you truly wish to do. it’s not ground breaking, and i don’t personally like when his parents are painted as asympathetic people, but it’s a new world, a new story, but fundamentally the same intrinsic character that we’ve come to know. i’m glad we can have different perspectives on not only the movie but the character at large and his mythos, but i believe your perspective reflects heavily not on the film’s story and execution, but your preferences for previous interpretations and stories, which isn’t wrong but unfortunate. also guy gardner make me giggle and slap my belly thank you bye bye

The word ‘stan’ comes from the Eminem song "Stan" which is about one of his obsessed fans.
What if Eminem named the fan ‘Dennis’?
We could be saying, “I dennis Beyonce.”
