On a recent trip to Gluepot Reserve with @SandyHorne61 we camped at the Bellbird campsite. It was an awesome start to the day while sipping a morning coffee as the sun rose to be serenaded by Crested Bellbirds. #BirdsSeenIn2026#gluepot
@SandyHorne61@IanThom186000 It sure is. There are a lot of Brown Falcons and Black Kites along with Black Falcons, Whistling Kites, Nankeen Kestrels, Spotted Harriers and Black Shouldered Kites within a few kโs of home.
A Black-shouldered Kite this morning on the way to work. There seems to be quite a few around lately and itโs rare that theyโll sit long enough to photograph. Southern Flinders Ranges SA. #birds#BirdsSeenIn2026
Number 1 on the Birdlist at Gluepot is the Striated Grasswren. Was lucky enough late in the day with @SandyHorne61 to capture this one. Out of 7 shots I got 3 in focus before it disappeared back into the spinifex. #birds#BirdsSeenIn2026#gluepot
There were very few birds at the Gluepot hides this year but did catch this White-eared Honeyeater shaking off after a dip. #birds#BirdsSeenIn2026#gluepot
