“Please get a job” my mom desperately cries from outside my room as I strategically photoshop an image of something I like on the Krusty Krab, and something I dislike on the Chum Bucket. She’s completely oblivious to the amount of retweets I’ll be compensated for this masterpiece
We are doing this for the 17 innocent lives that were unjustly lost. We are doing this so that no other town has to be turned into a cemetery because of a mass shooting. We need to be the change. We NEED to do it for them. #NeverAgain
For every one of the 17 days between now & the March For Our Lives, we’re honoring one of the 17 victims. Today we honor Alyssa—former star soccer player & debate team champion. She was just 14-years-old when her right to life was taken from her. #WhyWeMarch#ForThe17
This 17 year old made eye contact with a murderer and there but for the grace of GOD was not one of the 17 victims or 14 injured in Parkland. His story is chilling. Gun laws need to change now. https://t.co/grFrnIw4Dd @people @dyan_kraemer @jeffvespa
Teachers,
RT if you will refuse to carry or bring a firearm anywhere near your students.
Parents,
RT if you will refuse to send your children to school if their teachers are armed.

So for a 300 hour training the teacher gets under $2 an hour. There you have it folks, the legislature thinks the safety of your kids is worth less than $2. This is not the answer you are looking for.

Some of my teachers back in high school were too emotionally unstable, often lashing out at innocent students (myself included) because of their own issues at home. I know if they were given a gun, one was bound to snap and use it on us and/or themselves. #TeachersAndGunsDontMix
We need to arm our teachers with livable wages and classroom supplies - not guns. I have taught in a classroom and having a gun will not make our children safer - it will put more at risk. #union#LivingWages#Teachers#TeachersAndGunsDontMix
