@GPMonmouthshire Thanks for turning up today, despite being six hours late. Hopefully you’ll be here from 8am onwards tomorrow. We know when you’ve left as the traffic carnage re-starts. Both sides: Brynmawr and Gilwern! Maybe issue some fines?

@CostainGroup @CostainGroup This is the inconvenience we expected to put up with in Clydach. Wall by house destroyed at 8:30 this morning. Verbally abused and laughed at by motorists. Speeding and congestion. Not safe and hugely stressful. #A465

@GPMonmouthshire Very very busy non-stop traffic through Clydach over a weekend closure. Thought we were in lockdown full measures and this is residents only access too! Where is the patrol?

@A465_Section2 How many closures are you asking for?I live in Clydach North on junction of Main Rd and Maesygwartha Rd and as usual the closures are a nightmare with traffic coming through. When is the project actually going to finish? 5 years of hell!

@GPMonmouthshire Don’t say please just book them if they are not residents of the Clydach north or maesygwartha: they shouldn’t be coming through. The amount of cars coming down mani road, Clydach from Brynmawr is ridiculous. Have the Patrol over here!

@GPMonmouthshire unfortunately the reminders to motorists are NOT WORKING. Please come and hand out some fines. Main Rd btw 4-6pm and weekend closures. You would have enough fine revenue to fund 3 policemen’s balls!
