About $DIP, One of the OG CTOs

The First Steps

$DIP was launched in January by two devs, when memecoins were starting to make more and more noise.
​
I was one of the first to buy $DIP around 40k mcap because I immediately fell in love with this memecoin, I saw its potential right away. As always, the devs had no idea what they were doing, constantly asking for help from the community. They gave me administrator status in the Telegram, and with a few guys, we tried to make this project work as best as we could, but it was complicated with such incompetent devs.

After a week, the devs decided to hand over the project to the community, as they didn’t have the time or skills to make it work. We then created a group with about ten motivated people to take over the project. Then the troubles around the handover of the project's ownership began. Big mistake, we decided to wait for them to transfer ownership of Twitter and Telegram to us, fearing we might lose part of the community. We lost a whole month and eventually had to create a new Twitter account because the former devs were assholes.

During that month, we lost most of the CTO members, leaving only four of us. The real CTO could then begin and we started the grind.

We funded 4.5% of the supply into a multisig wallet for the future of the project and started paying some "KOLs" and "callers." Unsurprisingly, this created a temporary pump from 20k to 230k before falling back to 30-40k market cap.

We never stopped grinding hard, conducting dozens and hundreds of raids every day until we caught the attention of @EricCryptoman, which helped propel the project to another level.

The first breakout finally started and 10 days later, we reached our ATH of 4.3M.

The Eternal Accumulation

After the ATH, we experienced the classic big retracement of 90%, but it changed nothing in terms of vibes.

We kept working hard every day with thousands of raids, we onboarded new motivated people in the takeover (shoutout to Tamerlan, Ace), we continued creating content every day, and we also did some pretty cool marketing activations like the first “on chain raid” when we airdropped 10k Mad Lads inth pool NFT to the @MadLads holders.

During this period, we managed to organically attract quite a few KOLs into the pool such as @ETHEREUM_HABIBI, @metaversejoji, @agnesrium or @thisisdjen

All of this was never enough to break new ATHs, and we didn’t know it yet, but we were in an accumulation period lasting nearly 140 days.

Ngl being in an accumulation zone for 140 days is not the most obvious thing. It’s hard to stay motivated and hold a memecoin for months when it’s only moving sideways. But at the end of the day, the vision and conviction never changed, and this period created a strong cult around $DIP. No one ever complained, and it was at this moment that we realized we were building something big.

What’s Happening Right Now

We recently got @idrawline to ape 100 SOL from his public wallet, followed by @daumeneth which created a god candle to a new ATH. The price has retraced since, but I honestly have never been more poolish on $DIP; the vision has never been so clear.

We have everything needed to make $DIP one of the main memecoins of the Solana space:

- A goated ticker, “Buy the $DIP" is one of if not the most famous phrases in crypto and stocks

- A banger meme, dog coins are timeless, particularly 'real' dog coins e.g. $WIF, $DOGE, $SELFIE etc. Dog inth pool is all about the good life, the eternal summer. Something everyone in crypto is working towards.

- An ambitious team, I think we’ve proven ourselves these last 7 months and that’s probably why the community 100% trust us. Anything between 100M-1b seems more than achievable

- A strong and growing cult, the $DIP community has a really strong core of holders with big targets

- Many big chads inth pool, you’ll probably realise it over the coming months when our mcap will be bigger 👀
