I hesitate to “coin” anyone a “burden”. What I can say is that it is exceedingly difficult to be among people whom you have ridiculed and tagged with horrific personal traits (racism, misogyny, bullying). Meghan leveled serious allegations against the Crown, yet has paraded her connection to that institution (faux royal trips and insistence on titles for herself and children) Suspect she might be experiencing shame and consequences of her actions for the very first time and knows not how to proceed.

In a world that prides itself on “winning” often times at the cost of another let’s reflect upon Dolly Parton’s life: unassuming, hard working and KIND in an industry notorious for being unkind. A role model for women, for caring and truly understanding other’s daily struggles and reaching out to ease that suffering without fanfare or publicity. I know she rests in the arms of angels. Her death proves immortality is based on kindness.

Your son has repeatedly betrayed the Crown with no accountability for his actions and words. It is time to put aside your role as father and act as King. Take away the titles, remove from website and set strict expectations of his private/public activities. Be PUBLICLY clear he does NOT represent the Crown. PUBLICLY

The core issue is their stunning inability to understand how their actions over the years (faux international trips, speeches awards and pretentiousness) impact the crown. The baby mama dance, inappropriate use of titles etc. the insistence on titles carry an affirmative obligation to represent with dignity. For years it has been about self satisfaction and not dignity and sacrifice. I have no hope that these characteristics will change.

They lack emotional intelligence and focus. Had they truly defined a charitable focus and built an impactful organization instead of chasing constant attention I believe they would have had peace. Envy destroys the vessel that retains it - BOTH have been destroyed by that jealousy and hubris. Sad for the children, sad for William and Katherine who are their targets.
