@mitchporter85@jlkurtz Texas Tech had a lot of people rooting for their rise until last week. Only the blue bloods were really rooting against them. But Tech squandered that good will as a result of their own actions. Tech may have had options to leave and move up before, but good luck with that now
@ChrisVannini I wonder if they put that same software on the phone of everyone he knows in every state? There is plenty of history suggesting he is willing to use other people and their devices/accounts to place his bets
@AriWasserman Until they throw him out there as a true freshman and he fails then transfers to Oregon to sit for a year. Then he eventually becomes the starter and takes them deep into the playoffs…
@ShehanJeyarajah I think people will travel for football because it’s mostly on the weekend and there aren’t that many games. But baseball and basketball need to be close enough to decide to catch a game randomly on a Tuesday or Wednesday. That’s not possible with the Rangers
@ShehanJeyarajah When I lived in Dallas I rarely went to cowboys or rangers games but went to Mavs games way more often. Mostly because they were close and I could take the dart. There are so many transplants in Dallas who don’t really care but will go if it is convenient.
@davidubben Pretty sure the Big 12 had just as many playoff wins against non-SEC teams as the SEC did last year… zero. The SEC is falling behind the Big 10, but it’s not the big 12’s fault. It’s because the Big 10 has more money, better coaches and better teams. The SEC should focus on that
@Tex2WestSeattle@ShehanJeyarajah Then don’t complain about being left out of the playoff. They played the games on their schedule and took too many losses. Maybe not you personally, but the UT fan base has done nothing but blame others for their own shortcomings my entire adult life.
@Tex2WestSeattle@ShehanJeyarajah Texas wanted a harder schedule so they went to the SEC and now all they do is complain about how hard their schedule is
@WyattWheeler_ I was in the KSU student section, 2nd row around the 45ish yard line. I just remember screaming at the top of my lungs and not being able to hear myself. The loudest place I have ever been.
It’s a good thing all these blowouts are nba games and not college football. Otherwise we would spend the next week listening to everybody say we have to change the playoff format because the sport is broken
@statsowar It would be really cool to see this chart for the trailing 3 yr average. Could go even further and show each teams ave. Starting s&p vs. where they finish to show who is over/underrated going into each season. Might actually show us how good/bad preseason rankings are
@PwrofDixieland@ShannonTerry This realization could potentially lower the demand/price for 4 and 5 star freshman… unless they are good enough to contribute immediately, it just doesn’t make sense to overpay then watch them transfer out a year later.
@BarstoolDucks I’m not a fan of either team, but Oregon scoring with 30 seconds left was a pretty big JV move. All but the casuals know they struggled the entire game to score 16 points on short field after short field. Unfortunately for tech they just had no offensive pulse at all
@JohnBurrowsCFB I’d love to see the long list accomplishments from the time when Texas was in the big 12 which clearly demonstrates its superiority… and please do not include anything Oklahoma did to try to make the list look better. Thanks… now I’ll hang up and listen
