OFFICER INVOLVED ACCIDENT

A Brownsville Police Motorcycle Officer was involved in an accident while conducting a funeral escort through the 3200 block of S. Frontage Rd. The Officer was struck by another vehicle during the escort.

The Brownsville Police Department is currently at the Flamingo Motel located at the 1700 block of Central Blvd for two subjects that were shot.

This is an active investigation. We are working diligently to gather all necessary

Upon arrival, one male subject was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head. Male subject has been confirmed deceased. No other individuals were injured.

One male subject has been arrested.
