CBS: "You know that Donald Trump has disavowed Project 2025. He says that is not his campaign plan."
Vice President Harris: "As you know, I am a former prosecutor. His DNA is all over it. All over it. His running mate wrote the foreword to the book of the author of Project 2025. I believe Donald Trump's name appears at least 300 times in Project 2025. And it is a blueprint, a detailed blueprint that is about the danger and the detail of what Donald Trump and his allies plan if he is in the White House again."
This passage from Michelle Obama:
"I hope you'll forgive me if I'm a little frustrated that some of us are choosing to ignore Donald Trump's gross incompetence while asking Kamala to dazzle us at every turn. I hope that you'll forgive me if I'm a little angry that we are indifferent to his erratic behavior. His obvious mental decline. His history as a convicted felon. A known slumlord. A predator found liable for sexual abuse. All of this while we pick apart Kamala's answers from interviews that he doesn't even have the courage to do, y'all."
@joshrothkopf@JustinCChang Great article! My memory is that "The Irishman" had an intermission that Scorsese may have approved, or planned for with his cut. Is that not right? If so, do we know why he choose to not do that with "Killers?"
Saw "All of Us Strangers" this evening @TheNYFF
I found it to be a beautiful film about how one copes and tries to get over loss, and also a very attuned study of the life of a gay man in his 40s who came of age during the 80s and AIDS. The Pet Shop Boys will be playing tonight!
Saw Todd Haynes's latest May December last night at @TheNYFF. It is a hysterical, thought provoking, and strangely unsettling film all in one; in other words - very Haynes! More than anything it was wonderful to be part of the buzzing positivity of the festival.
