🚨 🧵 THE MICHIGAN CAN/BOTTLE DESPOSIT SCAM:
Michigan’s 10-cent bottle deposit isn't a recycling program anymore. It’s an antiquated consumer tax disguised as green policy.
Think about it: You buy a $3.00 12-pack of sparkling water, and you're hit with a $1.20 upfront fee - 40%!
Hey @NBA, when everyone in America watches Suggs flop over and over again on replay, and then Brothers upgrades it to a flagrant 1, maybe it's time for him to retire.

@siphillipssport I think they're concerned about the dressing room or coaching staff having a spine. I don't know if Terry would fix our issues, but he definitely has a backbone. Until the front office is addressed and held accountable, I don't expect it'll change.
@emilykmay Deeper problem here. Handing off a casserole to someone who has had a baby or a death in the family is trivial. Actually caring for someone in these cases is way more involved than that.
No one is doing the hard thing. Regardless of sex. So complaining about it is pathetic.
@breakingbaht Meh, my dad passed from atherosclerosis at 50. I have multiple family members with a similar story. Insurance turned me down for a $250 calcium test as it was "medically unnecessary." BCN Michigan couldn't even explain why.
@LumpOfCFC Seems likely. Keep hoping the old DNA shows back up. This kind of a result used to mean I felt sure we'd advance with our backs against the wall. I miss those days.
@RoryTyer This was one of the hardest parts for me. "We are doing this thing so we can push this more important thing off." I understood it. Letting our children get stronger gives them better chances after that more important procedure. But my impatient nature wanted it done.
@drterrysimpson When my 1 month old son came home from open heart surgery, they said, at that point, the number one threat to him was infectious disease. They told us to not take him anywhere and to not be around unvaccinated people. That was in 2018. Can't imagine how you'd avoid this in 2026.
Huge secret reveal!
Shortly after I shared that post, a representative from Clemson University reached out to invite my neighbor Gordon to be recognized as a Clemson Hero of the Game during the 2026 football season.
Gordon and his wife will be invited onto the field during a home game to be honored for their service and sacrifice.
Tonight’s the night they find out... at his wife’s 80th birthday party, surrounded by family and friends.
I can’t wait to see their reaction!
My roommate and lifting partner in college was an ardent atheist.
I've been a devout Christian my entire life.
We spent every waking moment together, from the dorm room to the gym. I truly loved him like a brother.
After school ended, we went our separate ways and talked, at most, once a year.
He called me the other day to let me know he was having twins. This was literally one year after my Wife and I had ours.
In addition to the news of the babies, he let me know that he had dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ.
I wept.
We debated theology constantly in school.
He would go with me to church every once in a while because he said he liked the "hot girls." I didn't care, I just wanted him to sit under hot Gospel preaching.
I felt like I failed him in a lot of ways. My answers weren't always the most buttoned up, and although I was living for the Lord, he still saw my sin daily.
Hearing his testimony, I was reminded that I have no power to save. It is the Lord's and His alone.
Let me encourage you to not grow weary in doing good.
You may not see the fruit of your efforts for years, or ever at all. But, seeing the fruit is not your duty. Planting and watering it is.
