With our team getting bigger and bigger, we want to make sure everyone is ready for anything!
Last week, our brilliant vet team held a CPR training session for the whole crew so that every single person knows the basics in case of an emergency. But obviously, you can't learn doggy CPR without some very patient volunteers...
Enter Rod and Jimbo! These two handsome boys stepped up as our models for the day, and they were brilliant. Safe to say, both the humans and the dogs had an absolute blast learning together. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated, fun crew keeping the doggos safe! ❤️
For International Cat Day here’s ‘A Lucky Black Cat and a Well Trained Dog’, one of only a handful of Peter Brook paintings in which a feline friend makes an appearance. There’s still plenty of his usual motifs, including the obedient Shep, who is singled out for special praise.
🔪 Chance was stabbed in the stomach 3 times by a sick human
🌴 She lived on the streets of the jungle alone for 10 years.
Now she lives with me and Hank. I’m still always stunned at how she has embraced her chance later in life ❤️

Marathon run London, England, 12 September 👇
Building a hospital for street dogs. My next mission.
It's not going to be easy on the 12th September in England but it will be done.

“Do small things with great love.” — St. Thérèse of Lisieux
A letter won’t cure little Layla’s Neuroblastoma. But it can remind a 7-year-old girl fighting for her life, far from home in a Pittsburgh hospital room, that she is seen.
So let’s do this small thing together.
A piece of paper or a folded card. A few sentences. 5 minutes, an envelope and a stamp.
And great love.
If I could be granted one wish that would change the world for the better…
Find a dog to adopt.
That’s it. Simple as that. There are millions out there waiting ❤️
A new era begins for us. The Black Jacket.
Starting this year , kids who complete the 50 Yard Challenge will earn a black varsity jacket as a symbol of their hard work, dedication, and service to their community.
The inspiration behind the Black Jacket comes from the tradition of the green jacket awarded at The Masters Tournament, creating a meaningful symbol that represents excellence, commitment, and achievement within our program. Kids get the jackets along with their new equipment .
Kids of previous years that did the challenge , will be able to get one once we secure a sponsor for our jackets. If any company is interested in becoming a sponsor and having your logo on our jackets & shirts please reach out.
‘My View from Babyhouse Farm on the Pennine Way’ is not surprisingly one of several Peter Brook paintings featuring the well known long distance footpath. Here, together with Shep, he stands on the hillside peering into the distance, leaving us wondering what is over the horizon.
In 2025, we were able to restore one of the finest Georgian churches in Wales, preserving it for future generations. However, this was only possible thanks to the generous support of our donors.
