I think that in the learning process, children have to learn from their body. Learning to be grounded, plant their feet solidly and be able to remain stable and not moving unnecessarily. Then they should be able to consciously open their chest not in an exaggerated way just normal and place their shoulder a little back and resting, then have breathing sessions. After you can teach them that anything that is outside their person, their business is not theirs to carry. They have to put themselves in a position of decision and take a step back before taking that decision, let silence do its thing. The challenge with most children these days is that they, for a large part, spend an immense amount of time on their smartphone. This is positioning their body, chest shoulders, arms in a defensive position. It sends a signal to the nervous system that they should fight or flight but in fact they are only consuming media. Other things that smartphone/social media does it send too much dopamine without efforts. Picture this, a human being in 1913, walking in a forest looking for an animal to hunt. They would get a dopamine hit every so many hours. Oh a branch crack noise, oh a motion on the horizon. I do not think our nervous system has adapted to be bombarded that much that fast.
