#IndianArmy and IDFC FIRST Bank have signed a three-year MoU (till Feb 2029) to provide specialised banking services and enhanced insurance benefits to serving and retired Army personnel.

Under the agreement, Personnel Accidental Insurance (PAI) cover of ₹60 lakh is available without mandatory salary/pension credit, linked instead to minimum monthly credits. Higher benefits include an additional ₹35 lakh nominee cover, ₹1 crore Air Accident Insurance, ₹4 lakh Higher Education Cover and up to ₹2 lakh Girl Child Marriage Cover.

The Indian Army is committed to strengthening financial security and welfare support for its personnels and families.
