This week the JGs helped to begin an exciting new project. They met to discuss what it means to live in Bridport, in preparation for a link with a London school! #LTFOT

Thank you for your support at the cake sale yesterday. We’ve raised almost £150 for Young Lives Vs Cancer! We have some bracelets, pin badges and key rings left over so we sell these after school outside the main office every day this week.

Talking technology with the JGs today: the children have really enjoyed their coding experiences and using technology as a tool in different ways. #LTFOT

Junior Governors have been talking maths recently. We discussed episodic teaching and challenge, and how fluency is helpful. We also looked at some beautiful and clear maths books, complete with editing and corrections. #LTFOT

This week we have talked about mental health and wellbeing. The JGs were knowledgeable about what they can do to help themselves and how to combat feeling overwhelmed. #LTFOT

This week the junior governors spent some time talking about vocabulary- they have come across some awesome words this week, such as 'effervescent'. It's great to see so many new words being found and used!
