๐ค Keynotes on loneliness, stress & sleep gave valuable insights into pressing issues in psychobiology.

Kicking off our open communications for the day is Dr James Jackson from Leeds Trinity telling us about his research examining the effectiveness of an 8-week online body scan meditation intervention for #Tinnitus
Our Themed symposium on Addiction and Substance use is now in progress, in which we are hearing from Prof Philip Murphy, Dr Cathy Montgomery and Dr Caroline Copeland about their really interesting and important drug related research. #psychopharmacology#psychobio24
In our second session of the day we have heard from our fantastic UG award winners; Katie Waldron and Marisa Soares, and our PG award winner Rebecca Kuiper. Great to see such amazing Psychbio research being done by students. Congratulations to you all #psychobio24
And finally for this session we have Northumbria Universityโs Dr Fiona Dodd presenting her research on the effects of a multi-ingredient tea on #sleep, #wellbeing and #immunefunction
Moving on to Dr Philippa Jackson from Northumbria University presenting her research on the effects of lemon verbena extract in children with sub-clinical #ADHD
Next up is Dr Rebecca Colombage from the University of Reading talking to us about her PhD research on flavonoid supplements and #mentalhealth in #postpartum parents
