I was really worried the dodgers wouldnt be able to find a big time player this year to help their fledgling team. Every other team may as well close up their pocketbook and just play with what they have. Lock out coming. Agents need humbled, league created a monster with LA.

@MikeCreger @cody_chgo I think he has the best defense of all the 3rd basemen we have used. Lopez and Brujan didn't have it. Workman was another Ricketts blue light special. Berti is better hitter but no real future. Until we trade for someone I'd rather have good defense and a bat with upside.

@MikeCreger I think Tucker is a better foundation for the future. But I think PCA embodies the heart of a Cub legend. Sadly rickets is probably focused on extending Amaya and hoping to find his next elbow rehab reliever.

@MLB @MLBNetwork I understand the need for a pitch clock. But make it reasonable. I'm a fan because Harry had time to tell stories. I pay big money to travel to enjoy the experience of ballpark. Fast isn't better.

@MLB the pitch/batter clock is an embarrassment! Please get tide of it or be realistic with the time allowed. 30-40 seconds still keeps game moving. You fixed the game with shift rule, don't ruin it with time clock interruptions.
