BREAKING: Rogers is closing Sportsnet 650 in Vancouver *AND* Sportsnet 960 in Calgary, among six total radio station closures.

Rogers will still broadcast Canucks games for radio on one of its other properties, but will stop producing Flames games on radio.

They should all be very proud of the work they did, helping make the station a staple in Calgary for Flames news.

@GBraggsJr23 I think to help understand the situation, you have to ask yourself who on the D-line would you look to replace and what would the cost be to do so? I believe only Big Bill left in FA. I don't know enough about contracts to understand what happens when you cut/trade to make room.

Has Poles put too much emphasis on physical traits (RAS score) when drafting players? And not enough emphasis on a players "smarts"?

Team continues to be plagued by penalties. To the point where the coach is simply saying "figure it out".

Seems like there is a common issue.
