@tim_cook Please bring those privacy protections to Contacts. If I give my contact info to someone, they can give it to any third party app. Harvesting contact info is a problem. My app @neucards bring e2ee to contacts, but it can’t be used by iOS without compromising privacy.

@heyalexfriedman Yes. When you share your email or phone number with someone who then puts it in their phone’s contacts, they get to share your info with IG or any other app that is granted access. It is used for growth, but feels like an invasion of privacy to me.

@wbhub @heyalexfriedman I’ve been working on an app that lets you send updates when your contact info, current location, mood, etc. changes to your friends and family. Better yet, it’s built with privacy in mind. @neucards
