Kentucky football head coach Will Stein after his first spring game:
“We need everybody in this room to continue to improve and grow. We ain’t nowhere where the fk we need to be, but man we are on our way. I want to play with swag and confidence, like we can’t be stopped. The only people who can stop us is us. That’s it. We are going to play to f*g win every dn game. This crew has got to continue to connect and come together over the next four months. We’ve got to keep pushing.” 😼 #BBN

As it should! The fanbase has given Stoops way more effort than he has given in return. We show up game after game only to be given an archaic offense and undisciplined football in return. This was the case even in the high’s of the Stoops era. It’s unfortunately time to move on.
Here’s is what will happen over next 7 days
There will be a week of the fanbase voicing (likely loudly) that Kentucky football needs a change
And then Saturday, Big Blue Madness means the fanbase moves on to Basketball
That apathy is why the program is really in trouble
