@ScooterMcNeice I will support who ever is made coach. If however this has been leaked to the media and McVeigh is to be named head coach shortly, surely Essendon should have let the other candidates know first. If not that is very poor

@ScooterMcNeice I don’t know why but I think I would prefer Hird senior coach and McVeigh senior assistant (if he was willing) but not him as head coach.. even though on paper sounds like a good fit for what we need.

If Hird doesn’t get it I would like Jaymie Graham. I do think Davis as HOD..

I’m sorry but if as a coach you are pulling out just because Hird put his hand up.. then you don’t have the balls to coach Essendon anyway. If you back yourself and what you bring to the table you would go through the process and prove you have more experience. Case closed.

Can everyone please stop just blaming hird for what happened with the supplements saga. It was the club, the processes, bomber Thompson suggesting Dank and Robinson. Yes Hird needs to take some blame but he has suffered enough and he is and continues to be the scapegoat..

A great coach but someone that understand the spirit of Essendon, will bleed Essendon and will do everything they can to make us competitive again. Can we honestly say a non Essendon person will bleed Essendon.. I’m not sure. But let’s do a process and see what happens

With the news that Essendon has parted ways with Brad Scott. I must say as an Essendon person I am now conflicted. I love this club, I grew up watching this club and as all Essendon supporters know it’s been a long time since we have been competitive, consistent and hard like pt1

@CraiG_Mc Finally someone with some sense. This is exactly what I was thinking too. I interpreted it not as Scott having a go at caddy but saying that moment where he hit the post from 3m out would have been demoralising for the team and maybe why they may have gone into their shells
