@CathyMere@DispatchAlerts Let the people read! Reading provides opportunities to feel connected, venture beyond our experiences, discover new perspectives, dream, question, laugh, recognize injustice, uncover truth and develop empathy. These are opportunities I want my children to have.
@palan57 Testing causes teachers to rearrange curriculum in order to allow kids learning experiences with tested topics-IN 3RD GRADE! PS. Lengthy and difficult tests do not support our children in their mental health.

@amandarhill32 My Opa and I shared a special bond. He celebrated my silliness in a “Don’t be silly,” world. We played tricks and joked. He would read the “funny pages” from the evening paper. I don’t know if he read the actual words, but I roared with laughter! When I think of him, I feel joy!
TEACHERS, LIBRARIANS, PARENTS, here's the next #giveaway! I have accumulated so many awesome books, but I can’t keep them all 😩📚 so I’m giving away 15 bundles over Twitter, Insta & my e-newsletter. 😎 Includes a poster & stickers from my own books! Just FOLLOW & RT by 11/30.
@pennykittle Wow! I love the way you are sending writers back into their work to analyze and determine what feedback fits their piece! I am going to try this with my third graders!
