@timjordan@jmbrim3 Someone who is born in a remote part of the Muslim world tomorrow, goes their whole life without hearing about Jesus Christ, then dies in adulthood. What of them? Damnation? Created by God for what end? To never have a chance to return to Him?
@PeacemakingSt@Disney The Simpsons S7E4 Bart Sells His Soul. Even the ultimate rascal Bart Simpson offers a very heartfelt prayer to God in hopes of recovering his soul when he realizes how empty he is without it.
@PeacemakingSt@UchtdorfDF Love what he said about the temple recommend - “the one concerned can testify for himself whether he truly wishes to keep the covenants he made with the Lord Jesus Christ and wants to dedicate his life to Jesus Christ on this earth.”
@BibleonaBoat@ThoughtfulSaint Agreed, but the creation story the Great Deku Tree drops on Link at the beginning of Ocarina of Time has some nice elements.
@PeacemakingSt Not me personally, but I was right next to it. Fishing boat in Alaska. We were with family friends. Their son had been home from his mission for a couple of years and basically gave the whole first lesson from PMG to the deckhand. It was awesome.
@joshnaa2gez Yup. This is where it started for me. Trump had just been elected in 2016 and a few weeks later Peterson was on JRE for the first time. His takes on the Old Testament rang true to the restored gospel that I know and love. https://t.co/m992vhN80K
@TimmyKal12 Utah native here. Just went to Florida for work and had a burger and fries at Five Guys. The condiment table was just ketchup. Gross. Promptly asked for a side of mayo and made some fry sauce myself.
@antiantimormon@TeeplesCY They had to, right? Imagine the stress of getting that vessel across the ocean AND you have do deal with the poor living conditions AND the passengers needs, emotions, deaths, etc. Those captains had to run tight ships, man.
