@jimfritz17 Congratulations to you and your athlete Coach.

@FLTechAthletics placed 148 Scholar-Athletes on the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award. Proud to share @FloridaTechMLax had 27 of those, just over 18%! https://t.co/cdkhi19dPR

Congratulations to @raidersjralax and Captain @_carsonmann on their historic Minto Cup victory over the Victoria Shamrocks! The Raiders won 9-6 in game 3 of the finals series.

HISTORY @raidersjralax!!

Been a long road David Fehr. But your goal has been met. Wish you were here to see this. Your son and wife have seen it though.

[Brad MacArthur, ChPC @bradmacarthur]

If you’re going to let them play all week, and you stand there while D guys tee off on O guys, you can’t pick and choose to start calling off ball x-checks like that.

On the plus side, the hand went up appropriately.

[Brad MacArthur, ChPC @bradmacarthur]

Couldn’t see replay. Was the hand up there by the official?

@CLL @jhenhawk17 Second part of my sentence referenced TBirds preseason (I was responding based on that). Off the top of my head UnBoxed have been neutral reg season games.

[Brad MacArthur, ChPC @bradmacarthur]

@CLL @jhenhawk17 For a preseason game?

[Brad MacArthur, ChPC @bradmacarthur]

@DanLeff4 @FloridaTechMLax @StampLax @raidersjralax It is in Calgary w/Lacrosse Canada representative. Teams bring it home for celebration and return to LC later. No handler like @keeperofthecup does for Lord Stanley. Fun fact: Lord Stanley & Lord Minto both served as Gov General of 🇨🇦 separated by 5 yrs and 55 days.

Perfect Saturday Schedule:

@FloridaTechMLax help a fellow staffer (and huge supporter of Athletics) move dorm to dorm

Founders Cup final (Congrats Thunder) and excellent pxp job @StampLax

Tragically Hip Final concert replay tonight.

Minto Cup Final GM2 (Go @raidersjralax)

[Brad MacArthur, ChPC @bradmacarthur]

@ToddWhittom He was a brick wall last year for us. Happy he’s in this position with a team I care tremendously about. It was great to learn how close he holds Austin to his heart.

[Brad MacArthur, ChPC @bradmacarthur]

Alberta Minto credit: Brad Banister. If Brad doesn’t bring the @NLLRoughnecks to Alberta, lax growth doesn’t skyrocket like it did. Brad is a huge JrA supporter. (Zoom on his T)

@garrettungaro @bradchall @PxP4Sports Right, but Jake and Brad were referencing not making it past prelim round or seminal game. Believe that Six Nations made the semifinal that tourney.

Great story unfolding in Alberta. Hope you’re well Garrett.

[Brad MacArthur, ChPC @bradmacarthur]

@PxP4Sports and @bradchall were talking about the last OLA team to miss the Minto Semi.

‘88 Minto won by a loaded Esquimalt. It was a three team round robin. No semifinal to miss, but PTBO didn’t qualify to move on.

G. Gait, P. Gait, Marechek, Pepper. Yikes.

[Brad MacArthur, ChPC @bradmacarthur]

Is this what I heard? @PxP4Sports @bradchall @raidersjralax

1/2 nostalgic day for me.

@TheMintoCup starts today at The Max Bell in Calgary, first home of the Raiders. Dave & Christina Fehr selected me to lead this family. They sacrificed so much to build this team & league.

The 2003 team photo taken outside pre-construction Max Bell.

logo the first few years, including the ‘05 Minto. Grew to love that Beaver logo and the history/story behind it. Logos haven’t changed. Jersey style has evolved but hasn’t changed all that much. Dave loved stripes and we had them from the start.

1/? @raidersjralax logo story. Winter ‘02

Raiders Boardroom aka the Fehr home office. Dave Hanson, Dave Fehr, myself, some others. Conversation was along the lines of “we need something iconic kind of like the top teams in BC and Ontario.

[Brad MacArthur, ChPC @bradmacarthur]

These logos were what emerged. We tried the sticks facing up. Something didn’t seem right. Facing down they went. Dave’s words (summarized). “Maple Leaf and a beaver. Nothing more Canadian than that. But we need a word mark” Raiders stick script was born. Was our primary jersey
