@masonmennenga @BillPeters30 Yes love your neighbor. But love isn’t the same thing as permissiveness. I love my kids deeply— so I set boundaries and expect better from them. Loving people doesn’t mean abandoning laws or standards. Accountability and compassion aren’t opposites. Real love often includes both.

It’s called being consistent and having principles. Left or right, black or white our laws need to be consistent.

@BillPeters30 @AmoneyResists I mean he went and asked for information about the daycare. Also are you telling me you have never just shown up somewhere without setting up an appointment? Where is that rule?

@BillPeters30 @AmoneyResists Exactly. That’s what we are asking for. Get someone to look at this and add some guardrails to assure there is no fraud. I am not sure why you are making this a race thing. In my mind it’s a fraud thing. There should be more accountability for places that are getting millions.

I mean if three in a building, won’t talk to potential customers, no windows, no sounds of children, previous fraud, existence of whistleblowers, etc doesn’t do it. What would?

@BillPeters30 @AmoneyResists How many business are you aware of that turn away customers? I am sorry if this was a list of day cares in my neighborhood and they acted like this I wouldn’t think “well he was knocking on doors and asking for prices.” I would want someone to look into it.

@BillPeters30 @AmoneyResists They were all able to give me basic information and prices about their location because in order to keep their business running they needed to keep brining in new clients. They also typically made the buildings look welcoming because I didn’t want to leave my kids if it did not.

@BillPeters30 @AmoneyResists This may come as a shock but when I needed daycare for my children I went around to all of the daycares within 10 mules of my house and talked to them. I wish I could have just gone to the people who knew me but they didn’t run daycares.
