In 1976, a California man returned home after a long day at work and killed his entire family, including his wife, mother, and three sons. The killer, Bradford Bishop, immediately went on the run and has never been caught.
In 2014, authorities suggested that Bishop likely lived openly in the U.S. to evade detection, deliberately avoiding arrest. His arrest would allow law enforcement to run his fingerprints and apprehend him.
In March 2021, a woman who had been adopted revealed that she had discovered through a DNA testing service that Bishop was her biological father. The FBI subsequently verified her claim, confirming her as his biological daughter.
His motive for the murders remain a mystery.
