the controversy was BS, but the rushed ending made it a stunted drama.

Nothing wrong ,just that other govt.s, don't do to export culture as product, SK paves

BoA opened Japan, WG were 1st opening act for Jonas, many steps along the way and yes BTS pushed much higher..good for them.
But SK, Kpop is not going to stop.

Just that SK is unique that they have done it for culture, more than other nations..

Exactly the same thing BTS was doing until few weeks back. Now BTS has given up, does not mean SK gov, Kpop industry automatically will.

Banning dog meat not bcoz of local Buddhist demand, but bcoz it makes them look bad with the West.

Most nations don't look for outside affirmation on matters of culture, Korea is an exception since 1997 when they pushed culture as an exportable product.
Hence they crave Western validation, are pissed when denied.
