Me: "I'm going to be a full-time indie developer!"
Also me: Has zero coding skills, zero art skills, and zero idea what an IDE is. Thank god for AI. 🤖

@thomasbrushdev For him, gaming is a sensory experience where atmosphere and trappings suggest a deep narrative. He’d rather feel the story than decode it. Like a song in a foreign language: you don’t get the words, but the melody still hits. He must love Souls games!
@NWS_STUDIOS Huge congratulations on the Steam launch! That's a massive achievement and always the toughest hurdle. The art style is totally unique and memorable. Wishing you tons of success! 👏
@luminous_bits Looks super intense! Love the mood and those purple VFX. When difficulty is part of the core design, it's a huge feature, not a bug! Is that difficulty curve related to the player’s build or just pure skill? Great work! ✨
Physics ❌ Event-Driven ✅
For #DeathPenaltyGame, raw simulation was too messy. We switched Corner Kicks to scripted events to ensure the "Noir Tension" stays high. 🎭
Devs: do you prefer total freedom or cinematic control? 👇

@FannyPackStu Algorithm or not, this looks like a hidden gem! 💎 The platforming mechanics seem super smooth and I totally see the Brave Fencer Musashi vibes. Keep pushing, the quality speaks for itself! 💪
@pathogenicgame@itchio@godotengine This looks incredibly polished for an Itch release! 🦠 The UI and the color palette really pop, it honestly looks like a premium title. Checking out the page immediately. Good luck with the project!
@WuotanStudios The level of detail on that axe is insane! 🪓 The texture work really sells the weight of the weapon, and the lighting adds so much to the atmosphere. Is that a custom shader for the environment? Looks great!
Small victories like these keep the dream alive!
Thanks for following our transparent development journey.
Are you a dev? What's your most memorable "infinite loop" bug? Share it below!

#WIPWednesday! 🚧 It’s time for some deep-dive tech talk!
Our Match Engine had a hilarious (and terrifying) infinite loop: when we threw the ball in, the game thought it was instantly "out of bounds," resetting the throw-in 60 times a second! 🔄
#IndieDev#GameDev
The fix? We called it "The Grace".
The system now ignores out-of-bounds checks until the ball has physically crossed the field's line. Simple, elegant, and now our players can finally get on with the game! Technical debt paid. ✅

We didn't catch the glitch on camera, but here is the 'fix': the new _perform_clearing_kick() function. It literally forces him to look for a teammate instead of shooting blindly at the goal from 100 meters away.
Coding AI is basically parenting strict rules. 👨💻
