@THEbadgermaniac The Joe Smith case is unique because there was an actual signed agreement promising future compensation. If there’s no signed agreement then it’s really hard to prove that this is anything other than rewarding a player for loyalty over the last couple years.
@THEbadgermaniac How is it circumventing the cap if they could reneg on the verbal agreement at any time before offering and signing it? How is this any different than when James Harden took a cheap 2yr deal with the 76ers on the premise that Morey would make it up to him with a big extension?
@AntAllbusiness This is a correlation stat, not causation. This just means that the games Tatum gets really hot, he tends to have the ball a lot.
Of course his 35/10/7 games have a high winning percentage — a 36% usage percentage in a game like that is just a result of him being on that night.
@AguyCalledLex@DaGreyArea@ClanTheSpursFan Harper and Castle were turnover machines in the OKC series. They couldn’t even get the ball past halfcourt sometimes.
San Antonio does not get to the finals without Fox.
@BallUpTopBrad I’m sorry but hating on Derrick White at this level is showcasing a serious lack of ball knowledge. Obviously he shot terribly but if you discount the rest of his game then ydkb.
