Tonight I moderated a panel for a discussion on the NY Health Act. Community members came to share their stories & get answers to questions about what the #NYHA could mean for NYers. TY @metrojustice & all of the advocates for your dedication to ensuring healthcare for all.
Nice article @friscojosh with good use of bootstrapping but... ! Why not do the same analysis on points scored? Might show that the low points is also just noise and make the whole article a moot point.

The fight for a #CompassionateNY is a multi issue campaign! True justice only occurs when we work together to put everyday New Yorkers first. @CarlHeastie @AndreaSCousins are you with us?
@samraforsenate@AndreaSCousins Congratulations!! Please co-sponsor the #NYHealthAct so that all New Yorkers have access to mental health care they need! Even with private insurance, mental health care is too expensive for so many people!
Please do not travel this holiday season. Yes it’s a bummer. Yes we’re tired. Yes we can test but holy hell false negatives & we are in a surge WITH masking & testing &quarantine. This pregnant doc is double tired & feeling like people are acting reckless w eachothers’ safety.

5+ years @nytimes refused to state the obvious for fear of being accused of ‘bias’. Very good reporting, hamstrung by @deanbaquet’s insistence on euphemisms. The folks that beat the drums into Iraq...
Just out! Angelman syndrome has the potential to be prevented with a CRISPR/Cas9 gene therapy. Early detection, followed by early treatment will be key. Special thanks to our amazing research group and @Angelman @SFARIorg @NINDSdirector. https://t.co/IEkmOYZMHq
Especially with superscript numbers and not parentheticals. I do like sometimes seeing the first authors if I’m familiar with the field. What about a hybrid where numbers are used when >1(?) paper supports a single statement.
@NatureNeuro please consider eliminating the reference limit. It contributes to a rich-gets-richer pattern where only a small number of papers get cited over and over, and these tend to be by men.
are any of you mac dropbox smart sync users? does anyone have a great way to sort folders and files in a mac finder window by *actual* local hard drive use, as opposed to full folder size (which includes both local and online-only file sizes)?
Some really interesting papers I've been reading:
