Built shed from kit…only one part left over & doors work with a good kick..last shed I built 30 yrs ago…swore would never do it again…leadership lesson…don’t let number of screws stop you from achieving your vision
Leadership lesson from favorite summer flip flop…fit so intuitive…couldn’t throw out…little glue and snack bag clip & ready for next summer…don’t underestimate the power of your leadership intuition!
Biggest accomplishment of summer-new shed which I didn’t lift a hammer, turn one shovel of dirt or brush a stroke of paint. Surrounded myself with team of experts, gave them the resources they needed to do the job right and got out of their way! Leadership 101!
Tales from trail-60 years ago rarely if ever saw a wild turkey…now a regular sight on old guy jogging path…awesome example of Michigan Dept of Nat Res. Developing and executing conservation strategic plan to reintroduce & diversify wild turkey pop. Great leadership lesson!
Facilitated this group’s retreat this morning. They took none of my recommendations (go feast on the neighbor’s lawn) or directions yet accomplished their goals and worked instinctively as a team. Lesson learned-sometimes best facilitators stand back and just take pictures.
Tales from trail-20+ very active ant trails and hills this morning. Tried best to run over/around to avoid disturbing or injuring ants or myself. Just thought you might want to know.
