@therecount Who cares how old the story is? There's no statute of limitations on murder. She had other options, but she *hated* the 14-month-old puppy who was "full of joy," so she euphemistically "put it down" after failing to properly train it. What a disgusting and heartbreaking story.
@82ndairborn62@OurShallowState@KristiNoem She did the equivalent of stepping into a dog fight. The dog was untrained/ frenzied and she knew it. What did she expect would happen? The puppy could have been evaluated by a behavioralist, then placed in an appropriate environment.
@ssmarcell@OurShallowState@KristiNoem How about rehoming it as a non-rural/inside dog? It turned to nip her because of poor training/bad decisions. She chose to intervene at the wrong time. It was a puppy she knew was a challenge & hated the dog. How did it get out of the car when she know it was "dangerous"?
Utterly disgusting/ heartbreaking. I propose "Cricket's Law," which would extend constitutional carry permits to include dogs in states that have legalized it for humans (e.g., S. Dakota.) Surely Noem believes the right to self defense should include the most vulnerable among us.

I see @Sears is still selling refrigerators, despite the fact they are refusing to honor their service agreements. Think long and hard before you purchase. Check the reviews. Customer service has plunged over the last few years.
Still trying to resolve an issue with a weeks-old service request (under contract) to repair a refrigerator that has now failed completely. Only one of my latest responses is visible. The 10th--no, 11th-- number I was given has also failed. I am about to contact our local news.
@Sears Somehow I am unable to view my responses.
If someone doesn't step in and resolve this immediately we plan to contact our local news stations' consumer investigation teams.
I need a phone number for a live person who can fix an weeks-long issue with @sears home protection plans. They have put us off for weeks, hung up on me, mis-cheduled appts and no-showed. The refrigerator is now completely dead as is all the food inside it. I was told they have
@Sears 1st no. has been tried already. 2nd number was answered by someone not authorized to pull up the contract. Was transferred to an automated line w/a message that our home numbers weren't recognized. No option to talk to a live agent. It's time for someone w/authority to step in.
@Sears I 've tried the 1st no. repeatedly with no resolution.
The 2nd number picked up but the rep was "not authorized" to pull up the contract for an extended warranty. Was transferred to an automated system that didn't recognize our phone nos/wouldn't connect to a live agent.
@Sears Thank you for your reply. That was not on my list of 7+ phone numbers I have been given; however, I just called and all it did was tell me I was eligible for a $100 reward if I gave my home address. This is clearly not the correct number, either.
for years and have only received one service call. We are ready to join a class action suit. Anybody else with me? I believe there may already be one in the works.
"no managers," "no complaint department," and that someone will call me back, which never happens. There is an endless automated loop from hell that the operator at *corporate* keeps sending me straight to but won't say which option I need to choose. We have paid for this service
@FOX10News That's fabulous news. We should keep in mind, however, that Mobile County is still considered high risk by the CDC. Baldwin County is listed as medium. Let's not let what happened to Hong Kong happen here. They are suffering their fifth wave of Covid-19.
