@sammyalfred7@realJudebela In my opinion, the Chinese system works because it is a relatively cohesive society aka one major ethnic tribe and many smaller tribes, therefore the gov has an incentive to do what is best for the majority of the people, unlike nigeria, where the flames of bigotry and...
@generaleasiamah@RantingAtheist_ Slave religion. Always seeking comfort in passivity. In a world where violence and vengeance are what gets you respected, keep being blind and bury your head in sand. Look up Platos' allegory of the cave as a starting point
@xm_muva@AsabiIlu16@bumeeysmiles It shouldn't, but for the most part it is. For most of history it has been the glue that binds a community together. As an agnostic it's been difficult finding community built around things that aren't fleeting
@InnoOgwal @IbiOriDamisi @DavisThuranira Wow, the people who facilitated the conditions for a colonial outpost in the Middle East are hosting "open condemnation." Ground breaking!!! Once you see these people for what they are, pathological liars, the world will start to make sense
@RaeNewsmedia@pardox121@theboyisgreat This comment right here exemplifies everything wrong with a typical Nigerian; ignorant, loud, and unwilling to learn. The misogyny is the icing on the tip of this shit cake. What a masterclass in stupidity.
@darthdiamandis@BigBadReni Bruhh slop is the perfect word to describe it. Old nollywood influenced an entire generation, now it feels so sterilized and boring
So we have finally agreed that this is a common trait among most Nigerian employers.
Is it deliberate or is it just a habit.
Why do you people enjoy wasting other people’s time.
Someone leaves a 700k remote job because they were made to wait three hours, and instead of addressing the disrespect, you start using salary to justify nonsense behavior.
Why are you using money to excuse lack of basic professionalism.
700k does not buy someone’s time or dignity.
This thing is very common with Nigerian employers.
I worked a hybrid role before, and meetings never started when they were supposed to.
Everybody would be seated.
The managing director would be absent.
And we would be told to wait.
“Why are you in a hurry.”
“Small girl like you.”
“What appointment do you have.”
As if my time is less valuable because of my age or role.
No respect for time at all.
It was when I started working with a foreign company that my eyes opened.
If a meeting is by 10am, you show up by 9:55.
Time is taken seriously.
No stories.
I honestly pray everyone gets the opportunity to work with foreign companies.
Because this time-wasting culture is just one of the many problems with most Nigerian employers.
