Folks: I have a very special news to share. By grace of Almighty, and support of family and friends like you, today I happened to publish my inaugural book on a topic I am most passionate about - Cricket!
It’s called “A decade of Memories Since That Wankhede Evening”.
It’s live on Amazon now. I will reach out to you personally as well with additional details.
In summary, it’s just a recollection of fan’s thoughts over the past decade. Hope you will like it!

#INDvsNZ
If you are an old school cricket connoisseur, then India vs NZ is the most fascinating battle.
There is no high adrenaline rush like Ind-Pak contests, neither there is any “aggression meets aggression” event like when India takes on Aussies.
Contrary to many other rivalries, Ind-NZ is all about playing the game the way it should be played with mutual admiration for your opponent.
Let’s see how it all went in ICC knock out games for this rivalry -
2000 Champions Trophy Final
A brilliant century by dada was outclassed by Chris Cairns heroics.
2019 ODI World Cup SF
Let’s not even talk about that day!
2021 WTC Final
Two of the longest serving members of NZ team, Williamson and Taylor, were on the crease when the winning runs came for them, does not get any better than this.
2023 ODI World Cup SF
It took a Kohli to turn the tide in India’s favour finally.
Can India make it 3-2 today?
Or will it be a repeat of CT 2017 (India defeating Pak in league stages and fumbling in Finals)
Either way, as Ravi says, Cricket surely will be the winner.

Nov 19
If you aiming for the sweetest ecstasy, be prepared for the deepest agony. Agony it was for 1.3 lakh people in NM Stadium (including myself) and another 1.4 billion elsewhere under the sun.
Present day
Like WC23, there is absolutely no debate that India is looking like the best team of the tournament, but let’s accept Australia, despite missing their captain and key bowlers, still is the most prepared team for various scenarios and remains the team to beat.
Today is the day to avenge the disappointment, the tears, the broken hearts from that evening, and not to forget @patcummins30’s famous “Nothing more satisfying than silencing 1.3 lakh people”
Let @ImRo45 show it again how he has changed the landscape of top order batting in last few years.
Let @imVkohli show it again why he still is the best chase master after all these years.
Let @ShubmanGill and @ShreyasIyer15 show how ICT will look like in years to come.
Let @akshar2026 /@hardikpandya7 /@imjadeja show what a luxury it is to have 3 genuine all rounders in one team.
Let our bowlers (@MdShami11@imkuldeep18) show Nov 19 was just an off day, not to be repeated.
Let’s heal..

India in ODIs in 2023: 27 wins out of 35 played. I have not checked but most probably our best year ever in terms of win %. We have been far better in ODIs this year than any other country.
So much to be proud of, but reality is 2023 will go down in the history book as the most disappointing year for Indian ODI fans. This question still haunts fans what if Rohit Sharma had not miscued that 4th ball of Maxi’s over?
Boxing Day test starts today at Centurion. I hope India does well in this series and record its first ever series win in SA. Skipper rightly said in pre match conference “agar hum ye series jeet jaate hai to ye World Cup loss pe marhampatti hogi ya nahi, mujhe nahi pata”.
Only time will tell..

@harish_ravi21@BCCI@surya_14kumar Let’s hope he comes good in other format as well, too talented a player to be a failure in longer format, let’s see..
@mufaddal_vohra These days everytime I see SKY playing such innings and these shots at will, my heart goes back to Nov 19, what if he played that evening even half of what he is doing today..

@RaghuKoshti@mufaddal_vohra Ok fair enough. Point being even if you slide the bat at an angle, there has to be some force involved so that it doesn’t get stuck even at minimal resistance from unevenness of the ground which seems to be the case with her. Bit casual approach in my opinion.
@RaghuKoshti@mufaddal_vohra That’s exactly what I’m saying, she has to keep the bat at an angle and slide, she is holding the bat almost vertically during SF, hence it got stuck.
I rest my argument.
@RaghuKoshti@mufaddal_vohra I very much watched the SF live hence making this comparison. it was less bad luck and more ignoring basics, you can’t run with your bat at almost 90 degree, more often or not it will to get stuck in ground, it has to be slant..it was v casual from her..
