@sentry Agreed! I miss the lightweight iPhones. The iPhone 5 at 112 grams. Yesss. The minis were 133 & 141, not bad! I’d love for iPhones to get back to 120g or less one day.
I went to the lake for the holiday weekend, and I skied for the first time. I also surfed for the first time. 😄
I did get the hang of both, so now can’t wait to do it again.
Don’t meddle too much with someone’s art. :(
“I’d love to ask Pete and the other Disney executives whether or not they thought the rewrite was worth it,” says the artist. “Would they have lost this much money if they simply let Adrian tell his story?” https://t.co/Ti4X9JmsKN
I’m a small business owner and sometimes get nervous that it’s tough to compete / be as good as the big businesses. But… This is how I know people in corporate America are making it up as they go along - just like me. HBO, Go, Max, and Now. Lol. Whyyyyy. I’m still confused 🤣
@Brentonimo Certain branches of several religions (inc Jehovah’s Witness) say blood transfusions are evil. But it’s normal medical tech that saves lives round the world. Personally, I’d say medical neglect is worse. Vilifying human intervention as against God’s plan has always puzzled me.
@Brentonimo Or, alternatively, God has gifted us the genius and opportunity to reduce disability and human suffering. It doesn’t mean those who are blind are less than. It just means society (in a fallen world) is probably improved when we reduce disease, mortality, and suffering.
Like I’m quite sure that superfans speculate (and probably to great detail) the outcome of the series… so it’d be interesting to see if collectively we could deliver where Jo could not.
Fantastic Beasts is still a huge opportunity, right? Like if Jo wrote the books—or licensed another author to write them—I do think people would buy them.
Could the Potter community collaboratively write them on some platform? Could AI write them for us?
I’m not sure if there’s a digital platform where a group of passionate writers could collaboratively world build, post background research and ideas, strategize the major arcs and minor plot points, etc, and then write the books together.
I think it’d be really cool tho.
