BREAKING: Two correctional officers and an offender have died following a vehicle crash during an inmate transfer from the Edmonton Institution for Women, Correctional Service Canada confirmed.

The incident occurred while the individuals were being transported between facilities. CSC said it is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and has not yet released further details about the location or cause.

A friend of Randhawa said the incident began as an attempted robbery at Randhawa’s store.

The friend said a man tried to steal liquor, Randhawa locked the door, and was then attacked inside the store.

EPS has charged 22-year-old Nicholas Butler-Chowace with second-degree murder in connection with the death of 48-year-old Sukhjit Randhawa.

BREAKING: Iran's IRGC, Yemen's Houthis, and Iraqi militias are expected to imminently launch massive coordinated attacks against Saudi Arabia from the north, south and east, a senior Saudi official tells Reuters.

Targets include civilian, energy and oil facilities, economic sites, critical infrastructure, airports, and ports.

Saudi Arabia has also observed drones and missiles being moved right now, suggesting coordinated operations from all three directions.

The Edmonton Police Service has charged a 50-year-old man with sexual offences involving a young child and is asking anyone with additional information or concerns to come forward.

Police say Simon Nicholas, also known as Ambrose Nicholas, was charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and two counts of breaching a court order. Investigators say he was also subject to conditions restricting contact with children under 16 at the time of the alleged offences.

EPS says officers believe there may be additional victims and are encouraging anyone with information to contact police.

🇯🇵🇰🇵🇰🇷 Japan reported a possible ballistic missile launch from North Korea, earlier today...

The projectile (a short-range ballistic missile) fell outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone, and no immediate damage to ships or planes was found.

The launch was detected from the Wonsan area on the east coast around 5:00 p.m. local time.

South Korea’s military is monitoring for additional launches and coordinating with the United States and Japan.

This is North Korea’s first ballistic missile test in over a month, and comes ahead of upcoming South Korea-U.S. military exercises.
