@AndrewProctor__@KingFieds30@TDavenport_NFL And Spears was staring at Levis. Also hit him in the hands.
I’m not saying Ward is Levis, but that was a very Levis-like play. Both were trying to play hero ball when it was completely unnecessary. And again, both plays were incredibly stupid.
@quartey_teddy@ChrisDJackson@Cameron7Ward I don’t think people say it’s bad due to record, but when watching film, a lot of the stats are inflated by garbage time.
He’s definitely better through 4 games this year than last year, no doubt about that. However, he’s regressed from where he was across the final 8 last year
@Titanbuck13@twotonefanatics I disagree. To me it wasn’t just 2 or 3 plays. The Ravens had like 13 or 14 penalties for well over 100 yards and yet we still couldn’t get close until garbage time. Just not competitive at all in my eyes.
@Titanbuck13@twotonefanatics I’ll grant you the Eagles game, but the Ravens game wasn’t very competitive. Down 24-7 at the half and 24-10 until they scored with less than 2 minutes in the game.
Glad they brought it to within a score, but calling yesterday’s game competitive is a bit dishonest.
@JacobyFC@MySportsUpdate Fair on the first point.
Your take on Burrow having 2 more wins ignores context. Through 4 weeks, Burrow was 3-1, not 0-4 like Ward. Additionally, Burrow had only made 14 starts to Cam’s 21 at this point (injured his rookie year). Just not an accurate comparison at all.
@JacobyFC@MySportsUpdate You may want to check your facts here. Burrow was 9-11-1 through his first 21 starts…
Both horrible comparisons though. Both Burrow and TLaw were far better prospects in college than Cam ever was.
@AustinStanley81 Dude, the plays obviously aren’t the same but the decision to play hero ball are equally as dumb in both situations.
Also, the ball also hit Spears in the hands.
I agree Pollard should’ve had it (like Spears), but that doesn’t mean the decision from both QBs weren’t stupid.
@itssmobbb@eastonfreeze I want Cam to not try and play hero ball at the beginning of the game. Just like we all hated when Levis tried to do the same crap.
That INT isn’t all on Cam, but Pollard letting it go right through his hands doesn’t make Cam’s decision any less stupid.
@aaronchaquan@Romellz_ Did I ever say I want to blame him for the entire team being bad? No. But he has absolutely been a big part of the problem. And I just don’t understand why a large part of this fanbase is so okay with pointing the finger at everyone else before Cam.
@FutrHendrx I mean, not really. They were losing 24-10 until basically the end of the game. And if Lamar plays that second half, that result is way uglier.
Yall have got to stop taking the garbage time stats seriously.
@itssmobbb@eastonfreeze I never said Pollard shouldn’t have had it. I’m calling both this play and the Levis play stupid which they objectively were.
Spears should’ve had it in that game against the Jets. Yet no one blames him for Levis’ dumb decision. I blame both Cam and Pollard here.
@LuLuTurner1738@eastonfreeze Forget? I just brought it up and called it incredibly stupid.
I know the situations and plays aren’t the same, but that doesn’t make Cam’s decision any less stupid. They both tried to play hero ball on those plays and they resulted in TO. Also, both RBs should’ve had it
@Canadian_Titan@TicTacTitans I’ll concede that by the numbers, the defense has been better. However, you can’t say there have been results when the wins aren’t coming. In fact, I’d argue last year’s 3-14 team was worse than 2024.
That last comment is ridiculous. We are allowed to be critical.
@Canadian_Titan@TicTacTitans Did I say that’s what I was doing?
Borgonzi has had two offseasons to improve the team and so far has failed to do so. You can’t keep asking for patience when there’s no results.
