Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.

Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.

A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.

I am hearing from GOP leadership that Voter I.D. + Proof of Citizenship cannot be added to the NDAA because it is not “germane” yet there are MANY bills they have passed this congress that one could argue have a ton of “non-germane” items in them.

Everyone wants to dunk on the RPOF, but this is my home CD and this race is infinitely closer than the governor’s race. These 6 candidates have real chances of winning (despite my reservations). Undecideds are still a large plurality but the top 3 are separated by less than the MOE.

Respectively it’s not the RPOF tipping the scales but the voters themselves. If we can’t have a criteria then why stop at the qualified candidates? Why not anyone?

The chairman of the party should not be insulting the intelligence of Republican voters. A debate was promised and these ridiculous criteria are being used to renege on that promise and to engineer a preferred outcome.

Why not just take 90 minutes, find a tv partner, and let the candidates mix it up?

The only reason why you wouldn’t is if the party hierarchy is serving outside interests instead of the best interests of the voters.
