The AeroLink team had the privilege of discussing our mission with the FAA’s Chief Legal Counsel and Flight Standards team: building a safer aviation system for every pilot.
We are proactively seeking the guidance and insights of organizations like the FAA as we develop The Aviation Network around the dual pillars of aviation safety, strict legal compliance and proven best practices. Our goal remains the same: gather real-world insights that help us refine AeroLink into the platform that truly connects pilots, operators, and regulators in a way that raises the safety bar for everyone flying today and tomorrow.
A sincere thank you to the FAA team for testing AeroLink and putting Orville through his paces. Orville’s rock-solid adherence to FAA citations even earned some smiles from the FAA Safety Team✈️
This is how we move the industry forward, together.

The Pacific Princess with the boys ✈️
What a privilege to stand next to one of the most iconic surviving North American B-25J Mitchells at Oshkosh. Huge appreciation to @mamainiero and the outstanding team keeping this legend flying and sharing her story.
Built in June 1944 as B-25J-10-NC serial 43-28204 (civil registration N9856C), Pacific Princess rolled out of North American’s Fairfax plant in Kansas City and spent her military years primarily in training and administrative roles across Florida, Georgia, Texas, and California. After surplus in 1958 she flew as a fire bomber, then stepped into Hollywood—appearing in Catch-22 and later as a static prop in 1941. Restored by Aero Trader in Chino, California, she is currently owned and operated by Carl Scholl and the Aero Trader team, based at Chino Airport.
Powerplant: twin Wright R-2600 Twin Cyclone radials, 1,700 hp each.
Performance snapshot:
• Max speed ≈ 272 mph
• Typical cruise ≈ 230 mph
• Range ≈ 1,350 miles
• Service ceiling ≈ 24,200 ft
She carries the classic B-25 punch—multiple .50-cal machine guns and the ability to haul a solid bomb load—while remaining one of the most reliable and photogenic warbirds still flying. In the 1990s she even launched from the decks of USS Carl Vinson, USS Lexington, and USS Constellation for commemorative and film work.
Pure living history. Grateful for the Oshkosh hospitality and the chance to get up close.
