With Aaron Rodgers likely out for the season for the New York Jets, should the Jets give Colin Kaepernick a chance?

Kaepernick has not taken an NFL snap in over 6 years. He's 35, so he still could play in the NFL, but would he have what it takes after being out of the league for so long?

Should he come back or at least try to? I feel most fans in New York would be on board to at least giving him a shot.

Thoughts? I personally doubt he can play up to NFL standards any longer.
