This week I sent out Rev 2 which uses the ESP32-S2F line of chips so it was easier to route since I don’t need external flash and psram. The main goal for me was to have a small wifi compatible board that runs #CircuitPython.

Since it’s #CircuitPythonDay2021 and I haven’t posted in a while, I thought I would posts some #CircuitPython projects I have been working on.

Last up is a project I have been working on for way too long. It is a ESP32-S2 dev board that is pin compatible with @adafruit’s ItsyBitsy line of boards. Rev 1 sat on my desk for a year but I wasn’t sure where to go with it.

I built the new revision of my #ESP32S2 dev board last night. A few changes are needed for the next rev but no major issues so far.

I got my prototype for a #ESP32S2 dev board running and blinking a led with #CircuitPython! The board still needs a lot of work but at least it starts up and can run code.
