@emmagine79 Hey emmagine79, I love using your tool, is there any chance you could update it to add AUTOHDR intensity tweaking ?
In windows registry there are values for these ; HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\DirectX\UserGpuPreferences you can add the AutoHDRStrength value from 0 to 100
@HDRgameAnalysis@ShadowElephant I mean you can probably tweak RENO to look closer to original colors, but the original code is just a broken blown out mess
@DVADigital323@sgaragarru87@idonotexistelol It's not because you can't mod that HDR implementation is good, it's on a per game basis : https://t.co/AWHAPh5QZc
On one platform you have 20 games tops with good HDR, on the other 1000 with mods.
@TechWithKG Hype when you dabble into renoDX/luma, THE gold standard of HDR implementations in all media content.
Full respect to the original artistic intent with what HDR truly brings to the table, none of the oversaturated crap people might sell on the tech.
@TrueOlomorn@FilippoTarpini if you play on PC with mods (which takes 20 seconds to install once) you get far better and more consistent HDR experience than movies, always using the most of your display 24/7
@CptObvious1337@raystormfang@FilippoTarpini Yeah, it's quicker than enabling dlss in games settings and it's only once.
Use https://t.co/l0enxFx77n if you wanna speed things up.
@xseidon@Timebringer You can do that and win+alt+b to swap to HDR before starting a game, use RENODX or LUMA on all compatible games, I stay in HDR all times, I don't really care desktop stuff is washed out a bit.
Or you can use https://t.co/CKkfWRKGup to fix desktop without affecting HDR content.
@xseidon@Timebringer The desktop and SDR apps are washed out yeah but it's not the purpose of the tech, it's really just about enjoying HDR content (which themselves are broken)
There are few outliers due to PC ports that can look wrong on PC, but it's entirely on the devs and not windows HDR.
@xseidon@Timebringer HDR is on a per game basis, PS5 or PC has no relation to that, most games would need to be fixed with a mod.
KENA has no HDR to start with.

@J6409313317073@_shy_ra@dasfrack1 Special K is an amazing tool but the HDR component is just post process sdr to hdr conversion, you can't go too bright (i've also never tweaked much and use profile 0 defaults)
Renodx uses in engine native HDR which means full range of dรฉtails, no clipping

@sighaboutlife@FilippoTarpini I think the only games where it was made with the color grading in mind are Alan wake 2 and Gran turismo 7, any other game might be using post process saturation so I don't count them.
@Naaackers It's just that easy man lol I promise, I haven't touched sdr in 6 years. ๐
Do the bare minimum to make it work and it works, the only real requirement is using proper HDR mods which takes 2 mins to install once per game.
Anything else is useless fluff.
